Lebiz Hotel

Khiri Travel likes the new Lebiz Hotel and Library in Phnom Penh. The whole design is ultra modern urban chic. The unique experience is enhanced by double glazing in the windows ensuring silence indoors. This is a nice touch as, in fact, the hotel in right in bustling downtown Phnom Penh, only two blocks from Monivong Boulevard and five minutes’ walk from Central Market and the main business and banking area.

Each of the 27 rooms in the four-storey property offers a 42-inch LCD TV, multipurpose bedside adaptor to plug your laptop into the big screen, free high speed broadband internet, plus a DVD system and hi-fi with iPod docking.

Inside, the Lime restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner – an innovative mix of Asian and western favourites with the emphasis on fresh, local ingredients.

We particularly like the mural – a work in progress – on the wall behind the bar. It is being created by infamous Cambodian-New Zealand graffiti artist Peap Tarr.

The Lebiz is a design-led concept hotel with an artistic eye and a sense of daring. Further information: www.lebizhotel.com.
