Khiri Travel recommends the new FloatHouse River Kwai in Kanchanaburi, about three hours drive west of Bangkok.

The ten elegant boutique-floating villas (each 90 sqm) are tastefully decorated in Thai folk design with teakwood furniture enhancing the comfort and harmony with nature. Each villa features a private balcony where you can relax and commune with nature with the River Kwai flowing by a few feet away, the forest and hills all around.

Developed with the eco-conscious traveller in mind, the FloatHouse River Kwai Resort is built from local materials, with thickly-layered thatched roofs. The staff are mostly from the local Mon ethnic group who migrated across the border from Myanmar. The whole setting is rich in nature, history and culture. There are plenty of things to do: elephant rides, kayaking, rafting, mountain bike rides, orchard visits, long-tail boat rides, swimming in waterfalls, cave and temple visits.

There are many things to love about the FloatHouse. Khiri particularly likes the Pontoon restaurant deck. We believe clients will be delighted to while away the hours in Pontoon just gazing upon the river in a serene setting. Welcome to Thailand indeed!

Let Khiri Travel organize a memorable Kanchanaburi escape for your clients by utilizing the wonderful FloatHouse River Kwai.
