Class in Yangon

Khiri Travel Myanmar has started offering half-day experiences for its clients who want to give something back to the community and see the ‘real’ Myanmar. Khiri Travel Myanmar is supporting a local English school whose students love to practice their conversational English with foreigners. The students range from four years old to adulthood. Depending on the day you visit, you will find yourself either playing with young kids and reading stories — or having discussions in English about world affairs, Myanmar and contemporary issues. The school ‘bus’ will pick you up from your hotel at 9am and bring you back around noon. It is a fun and interactive way to get to know the people of Myanmar. Feedback from clients doing this tour has been fantastic. And it’s very affordable – just US$15 for a sociable experience with Myanmar students who are hungry to learn.
