The hotel was built by a group of friends from South Korea and Singapore, who have traveled the world and expect to contribute new hotel development ideas to the city.

According to Esther Kim who is in charge of the hotel’s design, The Alcove Library is designed in a style that is popular in many other nations and targets visitors looking for a combination of style and comfort. Large numbers of such hotels do not belong to big hotel chains but they are as fully equipped as five-star hotels, offering a vast array of individual services.

The lobby of the hotel has a six-meter-high ceiling with towering book shelves featuring over 2,000 foreign-language book titles, with most of them in English. Guests in the hotel can read books at their rooms or the hotel’s yard. This is why the project owner named the hotel as The Alcove Library.

The hotel has its floor decorated with handicraft bricks reminiscent of ancient houses in Saigon and has 38 stylish rooms equipped with modern facilities where customers can have breakfast and use other services at night. All beds and pillows of the hotel ensure the quality of five-star hotels while most of the rooms are designed for King-size beds. Their restaurant, Roadhouse Saigon restaurant and bar on the rooftop serves American foods along with Wagyu burger.

The hotel is located at 133A Nguyen Dinh Chinh Street in Ward 8, Phu Nhuan District.
