Krabi Explorer Bike Trip

This bike trip takes place in Phang Nga and Krabi provinces; two of Thailand’s most beautiful and geographically striking provinces, the area is famous for its lime stone karsts that rise dramatically from land and sea. The area boasts beautiful countryside and many small villages making it a perfect location for a cycling tour. You’ll bike along quiet back roads and through palm and rubber tree plantations, passing small villages and Buddhist temples.

The tour combines on and off road cycling. The on road riding is on well-surfaced roads, with back roads which are quiet for leisurely riding. The off road is not demanding; the routes on this trip is suitable for people of all levels.

From Phuket, a mini bus takes you on the local ferry over to Koh Yao Noi Island in Phang Nga province, where you’ll bike around the quiet island through rice fields and fishermen villages.

The following day, you’ll embark on local boat from Yao Noi Island to Krabi, and enjoy cycling past dramatic limestone karsts. Stop at crystal clear Emerald Lake for a refreshing swim before heading to a nearby hot spring.

You’ll visit one of the most famous Buddhist monuments in Southern Thailand: Wat Tham Seua – or Tiger Cave Temple. Located just on the outskirts of Krabi Town, this temple is renown for it’s astounding at the top of its 1,237 steps of a 260 meter high mountain peak.
