Vietnam: A Country for All Seasons

things to do at Hoi An, Vietnam

As generally believed, there is no real ‘better’ time to travel to Vietnam. It’s always compelling. Perhaps, however, the most favourable weather conditions in the north are November and December and in the south from November to May. Temperatures between the north and south vary a lot. Most of the time travellers will find themselves in a variety of climatic conditions.

The weather from May to September brings a summer monsoon to the whole country. This can result in hot days with occasional short and heavy downpours. It often feels pleasant after such rainfall.

May to September are also the quietest months to travel. You will find Ha Long Bay has significantly fewer boats and a Cao Dai ceremony may only have local devotees.

Khiri Travel Vietnam has composed two great tours of two weeks each to discover the country from north to south. The first tour calls on the major highlights such as Ha Long Bay, Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the narrow and picturesque lanes in Hoi An, Hue – the cultural centre of Vietnam, and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

The second tour goes off the beaten path – now and then. On top of the aforementioned highlights, clients will also discover Ha Long Bay on land; Ninh Binh, Saigon’s bustling Chinatown, and the coastal town of Dong Hoi. It still has remnants of its 19th century citadel. The stunning nearby caves of Phong Nha are a must-see in this area.

Travel agents profit from two great deals with Khiri Travel Vietnam during this summer’s green season in Vietnam. Clients travel from May to September 2013.
