Coffee Tour in Vietnam: Bean There, Done That
Vietnam produces beautiful coffee. It is second only to rice in export value for the country. So we’re going to get up close and personal to this most evocative and aromatic product in the Central Highlands.
On the way up to the coffee production areas we stop to enjoy spectacular Dray Nur and Dray Sap waterfalls. We then stop to pay our respects to the ethnic people of Kotam, Don and Ako Dhong villages.
We then enter the area known as the Vietnam coffee capital. We can inspect the coffee bean nursery, planting, grafting, care and harvesting process using wet and dry methods. Find out about different kinds of coffee and see how production techniques vary between Vietnam and other production areas such as Ethiopia, Japan and Turkey.
Take a guided walk around the coffee factory and museum. Sample different blends. Of course you can purchase your preferred choice to take home.
Our Coffee Tour will keep you wide-eyed with interest. And sorry, there isn’t much chance of falling asleep in the car on the way back to the hotel.
