Enjoy the Warmth and Comfort of Cambodia’s Beaches
Beyond the lure of Angkor and Khmer ruins, Cambodia offers majestic mountains and a coastal Riviera for beach and seafood lovers. Whether you have two days or six, a beach trip in Cambodia is a great standalone experience. It is especially rewarding as an extension after exploring Khmer temples at Angkor or Sambor Prei Kuk. Khiri Travel Cambodia put together a package that profits from the advantages of traveling in the green season.
Here is an appetizer for six of the best days of your life this year:
Day 1 | Phnom Penh – Kep
On the way to Kampot Province we visit sights such as Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau temples, Angkor Borei, Phnom Da, and Phnom Chisor.
Day 2 | Kep
In the morning discover Kep’s teeming crab market before we hop on a boat for a 30-minute ride to Rabbit Island (Koh Tonsay). Secluded white sandy beaches, coconut trees, and a variety of sea coral await us.
Day 3 | Kep
Take part in a morning cooking class in which you’ll learn to prepare three of Cambodia’s signature culinary dishes.
Day 4 | Kep – Sihanoukville
On our way we spend some time at imposing Bokor mountain. Bokor hill station was a French colonial village. The remains of the old church and police station can still be seen today.
Day 5 | Sihanoukville
Today we make a tour to Ream National Park. The park is home to a number of rare birds and animals. Be prepared for monkeys, mouse deer and pangolin.
Day 6 | Sihanoukville
A free day to relax on the beach, swim in the clear waters and enjoy the peace of the area.
Day 7 | Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh
The journey to Phnom Penh takes about four hours and leads back via Pich Nil. The location is marked by dozens of spirit houses lining the road. Most of them are maintained for Yay Mao (Lady Mao). She is the deity that oversees the southern coastal region of Cambodia.
Let the warm and pleasant sea breezes of the Cambodian Riviera embrace you.
