Myanmar

Myanmar’s population consists of more than 100 ethnic groups and nationalities. Because the country was closed for the outside world for so many years, many of them still preserve their own unique dialect, customs, food, art and religious backgrounds. One of the exciting aspects of traveling in Myanmar is to witness the country’s various distinct cultures.

In Yangon, guests can visit eight different places of worship in a day. Khiri Travel Myanmar takes guests to discover the living traditions and arts of the country’s former capital. During a full day tour we visit India town, Chinatown and the National Museum to see a display of the traditional attire of the main groups of people living in Myanmar.

It’s also a day to discover the different religious backgrounds of the population. We visit a Buddhist pagoda, a Christian church, a mosque, a synagogue, a Hindu temple, a Chinese temple, a Sikh temple and a place where spirits are honored.
