Tourism suffers in Bangkok?

Thailand has lifted the state of emergency for over a month now and daily life is back to normal after February’s ‘Bangkok Shutdown.’ Khiri Travel, being an experiential travel company established in Thailand in 1993, has seen a few similar tense periods over the past 20 years.

Malaysian news reporter Noelle Lim of BFM 89.9 – The Business Station’s The Morning Run, liked to know how much tourism in Thailand has suffered over the last few months. She spoke to¬†Willem Niemeijer, Khiri Group Founder & CEO, on the issue on BFM radio, 29 April 2014. Willem and Noelle also took time to discuss on what other travel options there are in the region and why Khiri Travel recently opened an office in Indonesia.
