About the Author

Meg Sine Meg is an expat trailing spouse who left home in the USA in 1995 with three small children in tow. Professionally trained in environmental planning, she found herself in Beijing, China learning a new language and how to ride a bike with a child seated on the back and a basket of tomatoes, onions and watermelon on the front. Fast forward 20 years through stints in Brazil, Philippines and now Bangkok, and Meg has reinvented herself a few times in a number of volunteer jobs, including scout leader, PTA president, travel writer, desktop publisher and bicycle tour guide. Now an empty nester with husband Frank, an international businessman, Meg enjoys active traveling and free lance writing about adventures in Southeast Asia.
