Cambodia: Tempting Travelers Away from Europe

January 9, 2015 by Khiri Travel | Filed Under: , ,

Historically, Cambodia was never high on the travel destination list for people from the developed world. This was mainly due to the shadows of the past and the country not being very well known as a family destination compared to other places in Southeast Asia like Thailand and Malaysia. The only people coming to Cambodia were early explorers interested in the Angkor Archeological Park.

Nowadays, the shadows of the past have been replaced by a progressively developing country that is a shining star when it comes to family activities, family friendly accommodation, and travel services. Cambodia is able to boast many appealing landscapes to families. From an education perspective, there is amazing Angkor, a compact area of temples and rural villages which adventurous families can now tour on bicycle. There is something very appealing about family bonding while doing a fun activity and seeing ancient history at the same time.

The future of Cambodian travel is opening up even more to families. Khiri Travel Cambodia can show your guests that our growing tourist market is enough to tempt travelers away from traditional European family holidays. Cambodia is now a travel destination for Angkor Wat and so much more.
