This three-day tour takes you from Chiang Mai to the Golden Triangle — where the borders of Laos, Myanmar and Thailand meet — to Chang Khong, Pakbeng and on to Luang Prabang.

Take a dip in the hot springs of Mae Kachan, marvel at the ruins of ancient Chiang Saen, and enjoy a riverside lunch at the Golden Triangle. You’ll travel by Shompoo boat along the Mekong River stopping to visit an authentic Kamu village and gorging on a delicious lunch on board.

From Pakbeng, cruise to the famous Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting) and its thousands of Buddha images – laid out over the walls in positions of meditation and teaching. Take in your last moments of the tranquil river surroundings as you head into Luang Prabang.

This unique and relaxing tour is a perfect way for water lovers to take in the sights – and travel like a local.
