Easy Connections In/Out of Cambodia

Geographically blessed right in the center of Southeast Asia, Cambodia is a fantastic place to visit, to enjoy some ancient temple ruins in Siem Reap, ecotourism in Mondulkiri or the vibrant art scene in Battambang before hopping along to your next destination. With twelve border crossings into our three neighboring countries and easy flight connectivity, it’s no wonder that almost all visitors to Cambodia are also on move to other destinations in the region.

Cambodia borders Thailand, Laos and Vietnam with multiple entries and exit points, but not all are equal. Khiri Travel Cambodia favors crossings at Steung Treng, Neak Luong and Koh Kong. Coming or going to Laos via Stung Treng is a wonderful trip along the Mekong River, made even better by seeing the endangered Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins and staying in the beautiful and supremely relaxing 4,000 Islands (Si Phan Don) area in southern Laos on the Cambodian border.

Neak Long is a great way to travel between Vietnam and Cambodia via speedboat! Traveling from Phnom Penh down the Mekong River takes only a few hours to reach the border of Vietnam and the Mekong Delta. This is a great way for your travelers to have a scenic, unique and affordable “cruise” on the Mekong while getting to where they are going.

Lastly, hop between Thailand and Cambodia via Koh Kong after enjoying some trekking in the beauty of the Cardamom Mountains or the relaxing beach towns of the Cambodian coast. An added bonus of crossing at Koh Kong is that after a great trip through Cambodia, your travelers are in a good spot to enjoy Thailand’s outstanding island destinations in the eastern Gulf of Thailand.
