Encouraging news for air travelers!

April 20, 2010 by Khiri Travel | Filed Under:

After pressure from the airlines, the EU has finally given in and eased its draconian ban on flights. Airports in Austria, Estonia, Hungary and Tukey are already open, while Airports in Denmark, Belgium and Italy reportedly are to open Tuesday morning (around 14:00 in Thailand). Also Schiphol in the Netherlands is slowly resuming operations.

However, it will take days before the back-log of stranded passengers is cleared. Travelers are strongly recommended to contact their airlines before heading to the airport.
