Enjoy Myanmar More in its ‘Green Season’

May 3, 2012 by Khiri Travel |

June, July, August and September are the ‘green season’ months in Myanmar. This is when you’ll see nature at its best. And you know what? Travelling in this period is not only cheaper, it is cooler, less dusty and much greener. Furthermore, hotels are less busy, so you have more choice and are less likely to encounter fellow tourists when exploring temples in Bagan or visiting Inle Lake. Since most of the rain during the green season falls along the coast or in the Yangon area, the west and south of the country, we particularly recommend Mandalay, Bagan and Inle Lake during this period.

For more information about the above tours, which can also be organized privately any day of the week, simply contact Khiri Travel Myanmar General Manager Edwin Briels: [email protected].
