Hotel of the Month: Caravelle Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City

January 9, 2013 by Khiri Travel | Filed Under: ,

This massive property opposite the Opera House has been the center of Saigon society since it’s opening in 1959.

The hotel has 335 rooms and suites, exclusive signature floors and a signature lounge. Some of the rooms are especially equipped for the disabled and the hotel prouds itself to offer free WiFi internet, in-room and throughout the building.

Both busy executives and high quality vacationers will feel to have chosen the right place when staying at this property. The Business Center provides excellent secretarial support and meetings or conventions can take place in any of the social facilities throughout the hotel. The spa is the sanctuary to head after a long day, sit back and enjoy one of the high quality wellness therapies or a hair and beauty treatment.

Interesting to know about the Caravelle Hotel is that it first opened on Christmas Eve, 1959. Since then it welcomed countless dignitaries, politicians and celebrities like former US President Bill Clinton and French fashion designer Pierre Cardin. They certainly must have had a drink in the Saigon Saigon Bar, voted Best Bar in the city. The bar dates back to the very beginning and still has that original charm as when it was the gathering place for war reporters.

From April to September profit from the summer promotion of this luxury property.
