Introducing Khiri Travel’s New Hoi An Branch Coordinator

August 25, 2017 by Khiri Travel | Filed Under: ,

Khiri Travel Vietnam recently opened its new branch office in Hoi An – a spectacularly beautiful destination and UNESCO World Heritage Site that is growing in popularity all the time.

As part of this expansion, we would like to introduce you to our newest member of staff, Hoi An Branch Coordinator, Thanh Le. To get to know her a little better, we asked her a few questions about what it’s like living in Hoi An and working for Khiri Travel.

Q: Can you please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about you?
A: Hi! My name is Thanh, I’m 27 years old and I was born in North Central Vietnam. Before moving to Hoi An, I lived in Hanoi and then Ho Chi Minh City, but now I am in love with beautiful Hoi An town. My hobbies are traveling, being with nature, reading books and listening to music. ‘Everyone and everything has something to teach us’ is my favorite saying, and I love traveling to new places and meeting new people – it’s the best way to learn new things.

Q: Why did you want to work at Khiri Travel?
A: I wanted to learn new things in a professional working environment and to have the opportunity to show travelers the beauty of my country. I was also impressed with Khiri Travel’s sustainable policies and projects to help local communities.

Q: Why did you start working in tourism and why do you enjoy it?
A: It wasn’t my plan to work in tourism, but now I really love it. It gives me the chance to travel more and more. I can also show travelers some really beautiful places in my country!

Q: What are your passions in life?
A: Passions can change depending on each period of your life. At the moment, my passion is traveling; to explore the world and learn new things. I can use this knowledge to help children learn in my hometown and have a better life. I think education is very important.

Q: Why should people visit Hoi An?
A: My friends in Ho Chi Minh City thought I was crazy to move to Hoi An, because Ho Chi Minh is where most young people want to be. There must be a lot of crazy people in Hoi An, if that’s true! I think most people who come to Hoi An fall in love with it for the same reasons I did – it’s a beautiful and peaceful town. When people ask me why they should visit Hoi An my answer is that you can find almost everything here. It’s a busy town, but there’s also peaceful countryside nearby, green fields, rivers, mountains, beautiful beaches, good food and friendly local people.
