Khiri Reach Helps a Knock-Out Fundraiser

October 14, 2014 by Khiri Travel | Filed Under: , , ,

Khiri Reach, the independent non-profit arm of Khiri Travel, donated THB75,000 (USD2,310) and holidays in Phuket and Kanchanaburi to the Operation Smile Thailand fundraiser at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok on 9 October.

The Operation Smile Thailand’s Fight Night event was a white collar boxing match and silent auction. For the silent auction, Khiri Travel and partners contributed a weekend in Phuket in an Aqua Pool Suite at Paresa Phuket and a weekend in Kanchanaburi at the River Kwai Jungle Rafts.

Khiri Reach is a long-term supporter of Operation Smile Thailand, which gives free operations to children in Thailand to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.

In March, Khiri Reach and travel industry partners donated THB500,000 (USD16,130) to Operation Smile. In February, Khiri provided volunteer support to the charity in Northeast Thailand.

The Fight Night last week raised a total amount of THB5,4 million, said Operation Smile Thailand.

In addition to Operation Smile, Khiri Reach supports eight ‘people and planet’ community charity initiatives across the region.
