Ms. Ngoc family - Khiri Travel vietnam
This month, Khiri Travel Vietnam would like to shine a spotlight on Ms. Ngoc, our Hanoi Branch Manager, and Khiri guru when it comes to Operations and Customer Service in Vietnam. We asked her about the last year, how she’s coped and what she’s most looking forward to in the future.

Please introduce yourself to our partners

My name is Ngoc Bich Do, 44 years old. I have been working in Khiri Travel since 2009, the time Khiri Travel first stepped in Vietnam.

What have been the biggest challenges of living through covid?

During my 20yrs work in tourism, I was affected by SARS (H5N1) in 2003, MERS CoV in 2012, but Coronavirus 19 is something beyond anything I’ve seen before. We have lost many of our colleagues, friends, and workspaces. Working at home is the biggest challenge of living through the covid I have faced. I may not have to go on the road, jostle with traffic to arrive at the office, but I do have to spend my time on my child and family with no private space to work. When your child wants attention, it’s hard to say no! haha.

What have you learned about yourself during covid?

Besides the difficult things, I have learned to be patient in all situations, listen to others and consider my thoughts before completing an action. I think it will certainly help to be more organized.

What are you most looking forward to when travel resumes in Vietnam?

Very simply, Khiri Vietnam Travel’s office and my colleagues are coming back together again.

How do you think travel will change after covid? What are your hopes for Vietnam?

At this time, the most important thing I hope for Vietnam is the Vietnamese vaccine so that we can control the pandemic and reopen International Tourism and other sectors closely linked to it. Only fully vaccinated travelers can travel around the world, and travel medical care will lead the market. In short, this pandemic impacts all people, but it’s also a time for you to learn the things you wish for, be closer to your friends and family, and prepare a new plan to wait for the return of tourism!

What have been the biggest challenges of living through covid?

The biggest challenges of living through Covid is no job, no work, no income for families and for the country.

What have you learned about yourself during covid?

I’ve learned to take very good care of my health until the situation is back good again. So, everyone and I can work again

What are you most looking forward to when travel resumes in Thailand?

I am looking forward to seeing everyone will go back to work happily again

How do you think travel will change after covid? What are your hopes for Thailand?

Yes, there will be a big change after Covid, and everyone will get used to living and work with Covid. My hope for Thailand after Covid 19, all the tourists will flood back to Thailand and economics in Thailand and the whole world will be good again step by step
