Luang Say Residence Opens in Luang Prabang

The Luang Say Residence has opened its doors to welcome guests to the ancient royal city of Luang Prabang in Laos. Khiri Travel Laos believes the Luang Say Residence provides guests with a great opportunity to enjoy the classic ambience of French colonial architecture and interiors. There are 24 well-appointed luxury suites, extended through its five-standalone pavilions and a main residence. The property is imbued with bygone times amid unspoiled surroundings and tropical nature. Khiri Travel Laos likes the mountain scenery that can be enjoyed from the open terraces and exterior lounges throughout the complex.

The lavish Explorateur Suites offer spacious indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Each 74 square metre suite offers twin or king-sized beds, which are covered by a stylish mosquito net adding a softer touch to the room. The suite boasts ample space including a lounge area containing a writing desk and divan. Rooms are fully equipped with individual air-conditioning units while a luxurious, spacious bathroom includes a full-size bathtub, walk-in shower and double vanity.

Twenty other tasteful ‘Pioneer Suites’ offer a spacious 43 square metre living area with calming views from their open terraces and exterior lounges.

This 5-star escape provides guests with delicious local flavours at ‘La Belle Epoque’ restaurant, serving favourite Asian recipes together with signature dishes from a French brasserie. Enjoy after dinner absinthe cocktails at the 1861 terrace bar. Colonial-style furnishings include studded leather sofas, marble tables, and traditional bistro chairs on the terrace. During cooler months, a marble fireplace warms the 1861 bar while a modest library corner adds an intimate ambience.

To celebrate its opening, the Luang Say Residence is offering a special introductory gift of a free night’s stay — pay for one night and get an extra night free with breakfast for two. The promotion is valid up to 30 September 2011.
