October 5, 2012 by Khiri Travel | Filed Under: ,

Friends International, a Cambodia-based organization that helps disadvantaged youth, has opened a brand new restaurant in support of their cause. Marum restaurant – like Friends’ other establishments – will support young people by providing culinary training to poor youth so they can go on to find employment in the fast growing hospitality sector of Cambodia. Training at Marum will give these students invaluable skills that allow them to improve their life.

The name Marum means “Tree of Life”, which couldn’t be more fitting – by eating at the restaurant, you are supporting these young peoples journey to a better future and a better life.
