RefillMyBottle Campaign Gains Momentum in Vietnam
Last year was a great year for sustainable projects in Vietnam and Khiri Travel was one of the leaders in Vietnam’s sustainable travel industry market.
IMPACT Vietnam, which Khiri Travel co-founded here in late 2017, has done some great work in uniting the travel industry and bringing competitors to the same table to work on worthwhile sustainable initiatives and projects together.

Whether it’s being asked to talk at international conferences and tradeshows, setting up workshops on sustainability within the hospitality industry, or bringing together like-minded organizations to share best practices, Khiri Travel Vietnam has been leading the way.
One amazing initiative that Khiri Travel has been spearheading is the RefillMyBottle campaign. Initially launched in Bali, the campaign there involved setting up a network of water refill stations across the island that both tourists and residents could use to reduce the number of plastic bottles that are sold and thrown away.
Khiri Travel Vietnam, along with our partners at IMPACT Vietnam, offered to support RMB in setting up and growing the network of refill stations across Vietnam. With over 200 refill stations now in operation, we are turning our attention to how they can benefit our clients.

We are now looking at the routes we take on our tours and actively seeking out and helping to build a network of refill stations along these routes. If we can regularly offer fresh, cold water for our clients, then maybe they will not need to buy extra bottles during their tour.
Our office also has a refill station, so feel free to come by and visit us, refill your bottle and meet our team!
