Elephant Watch-Hut

Located in Habarana (Sri Lanka), an area frequented by elephants, with plenty of little villages and a rustic flavor, this accommodation was established in what used to be an elephant watch-hut complex, built with recycled materials and with the help of the local communities.

Today it offers visitors the opportunity to experience the Sri Lankan rural lifestyle in the most exclusive way: spend your nights in one of the simple but charming watch-huts high up in the trees – or in the ground floor lodge, if you prefer! – with only fireflies and the stillness of the countryside to accompany you. Take a chance to observe the beautiful sunrise over the fields, and spend the day visiting the surrounding villages, meeting the local people, or searching for wild elephants on an open-roof-jeep safari. This place is like no other, and you should not miss the chance to visit it!
