Every month, we put the spotlight on one of the key players who make it happen for your privileged clients. This month, get to know Tran Hoang Truc Ly (Ly), Operations Officer for Khiri Travel Vietnam.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I consider myself an active girl who has a strong passion for traveling and exploring new things. I’m also very interested in social activities. In my free time, I usually hang out with my friends. I like to take days off to travel at least three times per year.

How did you become a member of the Khiri Travel team and what has your career been like so far?

One of my friends let me know about this job and I decided to find out a little bit more about the company. I realized that my interests were very similar to the ones described on Khiri’s website. With almost 2 years working in tourism, I have had the chance to learn about many types of tours such as adventure, MICE, leisure, etc. Even though I started with a sales tour position, I have realized that the operations job is the most suitable for me. At present, I’m working as Operations Officer for Khiri Travel Vietnam.

You say you like your hometown very much, why?

My home in Khanh Hoa Province is the place I like the most in Vietnam. It is very famous for its long coastline, fresh seafood and friendly people. I enjoy Tet, the Vietnamese New Year because I can come back home and reunite with my entire family.

What is your favorite Vietnamese dish?

Bánh mì, a famous Vietnamese street food, is my favorite Vietnamese dish. I can eat it every day at any time. I would like to recommend Wrap & Roll Restaurant, located in HCMC. This restaurant has many traditional foods at reasonable prices.

Do you have any advice for travelers to Vietnam?

Traveling one time to Vietnam is not enough I think. Vietnam has plenty of beautiful places and it takes time to discover all its attractions. I recommend including Vietnam in every traveler’s itinerary a second time if possible. Vietnam will welcome guests as many times as they like to visit.
