Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1988, in a family of six. My mother used to be an airhostess for Aerolineas Argentinas. Since I was little I was surrounded by the tourism industry. Once, when I was still very young, someone asked me what my dream in life was. I replied, “To travel around the entire world – and see Argentina winning the World Cup.”

What is there to say about your hospitality career?

In 2009 I decided to travel to Barcelona. What was supposed to be just a holiday became my home? I lived in Barcelona for three years and worked as a Customer Service Team Leader and Airport Ticket Sales Supervisor for one of the biggest airlines in Europe. This job gave me the opportunity to travel throughout Spain and Europe. It made my passion for tourism grow.

Last year, my boyfriend got the opportunity to work in Asia. We both decided that it was high time to continue our journey in life. Therefore, we moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

How did you become a member of the Khiri Travel team?

Since I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City my first option was to work in the tourism industry, simply because it is my passion. Working in airline customer service and airport departments gave me a lot of knowledge. But I wanted to learn more about travel agencies because I always worked closely with them, but never got really involved.

When I contacted Khiri, I felt great about becoming part of it. I was already following the company in different social media networks. I really liked the products offered, especially the Signature Experiences, which were offering clients the opportunity to travel to places off the beaten track and experience amazing and unforgettable adventures.

As soon as I started working here I realized it was going to be a great experience for me – and most of all a great opportunity to learn more about Vietnam. I also have the chance of working with such wonderful co-workers.

What are the places you like most in Vietnam?

One of the places I like the most is Phu Quoc, located in the South West of Vietnam. My friend and I spent five days there and it was an amazing holiday. Not only were the people outstandingly friendly and welcoming, but also the island had its own enchantment. Every time we travel we love to explore every inch of the place we visit. In Phu Quoc we spent our days riding our rented motorbikes, going through national parks on muddy paths and having an amazing time at deserted beaches. The mornings we had in our bungalow, located in front of the beach, were really something to remember. We are always talking about going back as we loved our time there so much. However, there are so many other nice places to visit in Vietnam…
