The Romance Hotel which opened in February in the UNESCO Heritage Site of Hue in Vietnam, is centrally located less then one km away from the Perfume River. The immediate area hosts several good restaurants, serving both western and Vietnamese cuisine.

The Romance Hotel offers 112 rooms including 97 spacious deluxe rooms, 10 executive deluxe rooms with Jacuzzi, and three Romance suites.

Facilities and services at the Romance include 24 hour room service; magnetic locks; wood-floored bedrooms; climate control (air-con and heater); 65 cm (26-inch) plasma TV with 32 satellite channels; speakerphone, IDD telephones in bedrooms and bathrooms; voicemail; Wi-Fi connectivity in public areas; large working desks with an executive chair; mini bar; and hair dryers in every room.

There is also a swimming pool with great views on the top of the building. In addition, the hotel offers transport to Phu Bai airport 12 km away and Hue railway station (2.5 km). For meetings, the hotel has three outlets, the largest of which can hold 300 guests.

With its great location and pricing, the Romance has lots to offer. Khiri particularly likes its contemporary styling, wide range of amenities, and quality service.

Says Ryan Rogers, Vietnam Country Manager of Khiri Travel, who recently stayed at the Romance Hotel: “The staff were very pleasant and attentive. From the front desk to the porters, everyone seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a quality customer experience.”

He adds: “Bathrooms were on a par with 4-5 star hotels, with separate shower and tub. With quality bedding, beds, flat screen TVs in every room, good Wi-Fi connection speeds, and a ‘new room’ smell and feel, it all made for a very comfortable stay and a great night’s sleep.”
