John has over 16 years extensive experience in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industry. He first fell in love with South East Asia in his twenties when he embarked on a long trip that began in Vietnam and finished in Nepal. John’s journey in the world of travel really started when in 2005 he was a tour leader, recalling both Cambodia & Laos as his favourite destinations. Moving to Cambodia in 2008, John has a profound love and respect for local culture. Based in Phnom Penh, a city that John has seen magnificently develop into a bustling and exciting metropolis and where he now affectionately calls home, he is an inquisitive cook, John loves shopping at a local market to create dishes using the freshest and most local seasonal produce available.
