Promotion: Summer in Vietnam
Vietnam is an incredibly varied place to explore. Take a tour from north to south to explore a myriad of cultural influences in cuisine and customs, socially fun and energetic people, dramatic natural environments and booming cities.
Visit the Old Quarter of Hanoi to meet and see the homes of local people and watch a story told with water puppets. Climb aboard an iconic “junk” sailing ship for a cruise around Ha Long Bay to see the surreal-looking limestone karst islands.
In Central Vietnam, Hue has royal tombs, the Citadel fortress and imperial cuisine. Nearby, visit the historic charm of Hoi An seaport in a walking tour of narrow streets lined with centuries old shops and houses.
Ho Chi Minh City is home to stately museums, colorful temples, and traditional markets bursting with exotic food stalls and exquisite handicrafts. Broad, tree-lined boulevards compliment the French colonial architecture.
The adventure culminates in the beguiling backwaters of the Mekong Delta to join a farm family celebrating a sacred religious ceremony.
