Dear Win Htike,
Last Saturday we came back from Myanmar. I would like to congratulate you with the fantastic job you did for us.
The tour through Myanmar was a fantastic experience for my whole family. The balance was great between some more basic stays around Lashio and the more easy and beautiful stays around the INLE LAKE, Yangon and Bagan. We also loved the planned activities like visiting the Elephant Cam, cycling from Kalaw to the Inle Lake and the fantastic hike with the SUPER guide Naing Naing in Kyaukme. Some of the trips was a nice challange for the family but never too difficult and otherwise your organization was so good that a chuk chuk would come with us.
Again many thanks for this wonderful trip. My sisters family, Antoinette Den Hollander and my very good friend Christine van Zuylen have had the same experience. They all became really FAN of your travel organization!
Just to let you know my specific information about some of the hotels:
In Mandalay, we think the hotel at the Red Canal is just fantastic!! I would always prefer that instead of being far out of the city. The quality of this boutique hotel is amazing aswell as the food next door.
We loved the hotel in Kalaw. Great atmosphere.
At the Inle Lake we really preferred the hotel ” View Pont”. Nice near the village, fantastic food, so glad we stayed there 2 nights. Inle resort is ok, beautiful but no atmosphere.
As I sad before we loved the visit at the Elephant Camp. Also the walk, the activities and the idea behind the project. The place where we had luch was very nive and relaxing. A great day for the whole family!
I would always recommend to cycle to Inle lake. Beautiful trip. Our children were able to finish it quite easy. They are 12, 14,15 years old.
The days at Inle lake were great. The different visits we made were very nice as well the canoeing through the small canals was great. The visit at the silver shop was not interesting the more we found out that they sold knifes with IVORY!!
I think our guide at the Inle lake was very nice but not really experienced. I think a visit at the heritage could have been a bit more interesting as well the whole life around the lake with some more info from the guide. But don’t worry at all the other places we had GREAT Guides!!!
In yangon we visited an Art gallery” Pansodan” and they opened a new one. I think a great place to visit!! We also enjoyed visiting the school with the deaf children. We did’nt do the hand massage, but very nice talking to the teachers and to see their workshop.
I would like to say thank you again for organizing our great trip to Myanmar; chei-zu tin-bar-te!!
Our next visit will be to Cambodia. Please let us know what sort of trips you offer there. Short trips of 4 days and longer ones of maybe a week?
Warm regards from Singapore!
