Exotic Capital, Local Delights

May 1, 2014 by Khiri Travel | Filed Under: ,

Khiri brings guests to taste local delights at the heart of Phnom Penh. Try some mi char (fried noodle), nibble on sach korang (BBQ beef), taste some nom krok (traditional snacks cooked in a clay pan), while sipping on a refreshing teuk ampil (sugar cane juice poured over ice). Feeling satisfied with local food, we walk to explore Phnom Penh’s amazing variety of historical architecture. The city’s old French colonial quarter is well known for the beautiful Belle Epoque and Art Deco designs, in contrast with the ‘New Khmer Architecture’ built after Cambodia’s independence in 1953.
