While our Carbon Offset Program was pivotal in mitigating the impact of travel, we came to realize that it didn’t fulfill our complete vision. Our goal was never just to do less harm; it has always been to actively do more good. We believe true sustainable travel must go beyond simply balancing a carbon ledger. It must actively heal, support, and uplift the communities and ecosystems we are privileged to visit. Our vision is for every journey to leave a lasting, positive legacy.
The Solution: A Regenerative Approach
With this deeper understanding, we are proud to announce that beginning in 2025, we are transitioning to our new Khiri Regenerative Travel Program. This program is designed from the ground up to create tangible, positive impacts. It shifts the focus from cancellation to contribution, empowering every traveler to become a direct partner in the sustainable development of the destinations they explore.
For a small, optional contribution of just US$0.50 per person per day (capped at a maximum of US$10 per trip), you can help turn our vision of travel for a positive impact into reality.
Transparency is our promise. Khiri Travel covers all administrative overhead, which means 100% of your contribution goes directly to on-the-ground projects managed by our dedicated foundation, Khiri Reach. Your support funds vital initiatives like building schools, providing clean water, supporting local artisans, and driving conservation efforts.
