A full-day trek in Bali’s highlands offers more than views—support clean water, local crafts, and community resilience with every step.
High up in the mountain villages of North East Bali, life unfolds in a way that is vastly different from the tourist hotspots. In these remote communities, families face daily challenges due to limited access to clean water and sustainable income. But there’s a growing movement to change that — and you can be a part of it.
Our full-day trekking experience offers not only breathtaking landscapes, but also the chance to support a meaningful community project that empowers local families to build a better future. Through the efforts of a Swiss-Indonesian non-profit organization, clean water access and income generation opportunities have been introduced to uplift entire villages.
By participating in this trek, you directly contribute to these important initiatives.

Your journey begins in a lakeside village and takes you along scenic trails through lush vegetation and quiet hamlets nestled on the hillsides. Along the way, you will be accompanied by experienced English-speaking guides and local residents who will share stories of transformation and the sustainable projects that are helping to change lives — including handicraft making and the production of healthy dried fruit.
This moderate-level trek includes several stops for rest, learning, and connection. You will enjoy sweeping views of Lake Batur and the distant Indian Ocean, all while gaining insight into the challenges these communities face and how your visit helps make a difference.

We believe water is the “blue gold of the future.” Without clean water, sustainable development simply is not possible. That is why this project began with the basics — access to safe drinking water — and evolved into a platform for economic empowerment.
After the trek, we will make our way down to the coastline where you’ll enjoy a refreshing seaside break and a delicious lunch before returning to your hotel.
