Aini’s journey in the travel industry began back in 2004, joining the company as an accountant before discovering a true passion for tourism and people along the way. What she loves most about the job is showing Indonesia to guests, sharing not just the country’s beautiful destinations but the warmth of its people. Today, as General Manager of Khiri Indonesia, her goal is simple: to create unforgettable journeys and make sure guests go home with a little piece of Indonesia in their hearts.

Julie became Country Manager of Khiri Travel Laos in 2024, after starting her career in early childhood education in France before moving into tourism. She began at Asian Trails, working her way up to Product Manager and Sustainability Coordinator, before moving to Khiri, where her love for responsible travel felt right at home. She enjoys working closely with local teams to build trips that bring travelers and communities together.

Mahiru joined Khiri Travel Sri Lanka in 2016 as a Travel Designer and currently is the General Manager. He caught the travel bug as a kid while doing road trips with his dad and later while planning student trips with his friends. When he is not at office or on the road travelling, he can be found in his kitchen cooking a Sri Lankan Black Pork curry or strumming his guitar to a classic Baila song with his family.

Her focus is on growing Khiri’s presence in the country and showcasing everything that makes the Philippines special, from its islands and culture to the warmth of its people.

Nicola joined Khiri Travel Vietnam in December 2024, bringing more than 25 years of hands-on experience across Southeast Asia. A long-time regional specialist with deep knowledge of the region’s people and lesser-known corners, he pairs commercial instinct with a real passion for travel that goes beyond the obvious. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, he leads Khiri’s Vietnam operation with a focus on strong partnerships and meaningful experiences for travellers.
