Your trip starts in Paksong City, where you’ll jump into Mr. Khamsone’s vintage Jeep for a full day of exploring wild, beautiful landscapes and waterfalls. After an exciting day on the trails, you’ll spend your first night at the welcoming Mystic Mountain coffee plantation and homestay.
On day two, you’ll grab your bike and hit the road! You’ll cycle toward Thateng to take in views of the remarkable Phou Tayoun Mountain. After a great day of riding, you’ll settle in for a peaceful overnight stay at Thateng Farm Resort.
Day three takes you deeper into the heart of the countryside. You’ll ride your bike on a scenic loop to visit Ban Kok Phung Tai, a village home to local ethnic minorities. Here, you’ll get to learn about the Laven, the indigenous ethnic group from whom the Bolaven Plateau gets its name. Meet the locals, and see their way of life. When the day is done, you’ll unwind at Tad Lo Lodge to the sound of the nearby river and waterfall.
On your final day, you’ll pedal toward Pakse, stopping along the way to visit Ban Houayhun village, local textile makers from the Katu ethnic minority, and the beautiful Tad Pasuam Waterfall. Your unforgettable journey comes to an end as you finish the ride, leaving you with incredible memories of rural Laos!
